About Fire In The Heart
Hi everyone! This is Hayjay Martinson, and I want to share the story of how Fire In The Heart came to be! So, to start at the beginning, my uncle, Rod Martinson, was already in a band called Jaded By Choice, where he was the lead singer. Ever since I was a little girl, my dad would tell me about how my uncle was in a band. Hearing that made me believe that one day, I could do the same thing and follow in his footsteps. Because of that, I kept believing in myself and never gave up on that dream. When I was in middle school, I discovered that I could sing, and that made me want to pursue my dream of being in a band just like Rod. Years later, I got the opportunity to become a backup singer for Jaded By Choice, and that experience changed my life for the better. It gave me the chance to be part of something I had dreamed about since I was a little girl. More recently, Rod had an idea for me to create my own band name and become the lead singer. I agreed, and that is how Fire In The Heart began! And now, here we are, guys! I'm so excited to share this journey with all of you. This is where you can listen to demos of our original songs, find out when and where we'll be playing, and follow along as we get started. When we play out, we hope to see you there supporting us! Thank you all so much for taking the time to read our story and be part of this journey with us. It truly means a lot! Welcome to Fire In The Heart!
